Yuki is a Japanese singer, songwriter, and composer originally from Osaka. Beginning her musical journey with the electone at age five and composing from an early age, she launched her professional career in Osaka's live venues at twenty before relocating to the UK in 2013, expanding her artistic endeavors across London, the Netherlands, and Europe.
Her dynamic international collaborations include performing with JUNO REACTOR's Mutant Theatre (2018), serving as vocalist for WARRIOR CHARGE alongside the rhythm section of Billy Ocean, and participating in Guy Laliberté's Canadian immersive project PY1 — Through the Echoes (2019), where she met composer Simon Carpentier (Cirque du Soleil).
In 2021, she composed the theatrical soundtrack for MOTHERLAND (Meijiza / Morinomiya Piloti Hall) and released an exclusive NFT collaboration track with BLOND:ISH.
In 2025, following the release of her first collaborative track Kaguya's Light with Simon Carpentier, she launched the immersive art-music project YUTORI, blending cinematic soundscapes with the Japanese aesthetic of Ma (negative space). Alongside All I Got for Christmas is Wi-Fi — Christmas in Tokyo, a project dedicated to lonely nights around the world with a quiet prayer for love and peace, she is currently preparing for their debut live show in Japan this winter. Through her serene, deep vocal expression, she continues her work as a musician weaving Japanese spirituality and Kotodama for audiences worldwide.
大阪出身の歌手・作曲家。5歳よりエレクトーンを学び、幼少期から作曲を始める。 20歳で大阪のライブハウスを中心にプロ活動を開始し、2013年に渡英。 ロンドンやオランダを拠点に、ヨーロッパ各地で音楽活動を展開する。
2018年には JUNO REACTOR『Mutant Theatre』に参加し、 ビリー・オーシャンのリズム隊を務める WARRIOR CHARGE のボーカルとしても活動。 2019年にはカナダ発のイマーシブ・プロジェクト『PY1 — Through the Echoes』への 参加を機に、シルク・ドゥ・ソレイユ等の楽曲を手がける作曲家 Simon Carpentier と出会う。
2021年には舞台『MOTHERLAND』(明治座・森ノ宮ピロティホール)の劇伴・挿入歌を担当したほか、 BLOND:ISH とのコラボレーションによるNFT限定楽曲をリリース。
2025年、Simon Carpentier との初コラボレーション楽曲『Kaguya's Light』のリリースを機に、 日本の美意識「間」とシネマティックな音響が織りなす没入型アート・ミュージックプロジェクト 『YUTORI』を始動。さらに、世界中の孤独な夜へ静かな愛と平和への祈りを込めて描いた 『Wi-Fiだけ — Christmas in Tokyo』を手掛け、 この冬、日本での初となるライブショーの開催に向けて制作を進めている。 日本の精神性や言霊を、静けさと深みのある歌声で世界へ紡ぐ音楽家として活動している。
Inspired by Princess Kaguya from Japan's oldest narrative The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, this first collaborative piece between Yuki and Simon Carpentier portrays Kaguya as a symbol of eternal love.
Fusing classical Japanese spirituality with contemporary cinematic soundscapes, this meditative work marks the very origin of the YUTORI project.

月へ帰らなければならない宿命を背負いながらも、地上で人々の心に触れ、 永遠の愛の遺産を残したかぐや姫。人生に訪れる悲しみも喜びも、 すべてが最終的に 愛 へと繋がることを思い出させてくれる彼女の姿を 「愛の象徴」として描き出しました。
日本の古典的な精神性と現代的なサウンドスケープが融合したこの瞑想的な響きは、 のちのプロジェクト『YUTORI』誕生の原点となっています。
